Tutoring Programs
The Academic Resource Center provides tutoring for Mercer University students at the Macon campus and the Atlanta campus. We also provide tutoring for Mercer students at the Regional Academic Centers in Douglas County, Henry County, and Macon. All of our tutoring labs operate on a drop-in basis, so no appointments are necessary.

Macon Traditional Undergraduate Tutoring
The ARC provides free, drop-in tutoring to students on the Macon Campus; no appointments are necessary. Peer tutors offer assistance with writing, mathematics, the sciences, foreign languages, and a variety of other academic disciplines. During the fall and spring semesters, tutoring labs are open Sunday-Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Visit our Macon Traditional Undergraduate Schedule webpage for schedule information.

Tutor Qualifications
Tutors are Mercer University students at a sophomore standing or higher who have successfully completed the courses they tutor and received a faculty recommendation. In addition to a strong academic record (at least a 3.0 GPA overall and in the courses they tutor), our peer tutors participate in College Reading and Learning Association-certified training. Tutoring is conducted in the Academic Resource Center, located on the first floor of Ryals Hall.
